The assignment
JV Driver provided single-source civil and mechanical support for Catalyst Paper across three Vancouver Island facilities and Powell River. The maintenance program covered power and recovery equipment, recausticizing systems, pulping equipment, digesters, pulp and paper machines and finishing areas. This work required familiarity with the connected systems of an operating mill, from pressure equipment through production and handling.

- Power and recovery maintenance, including pressure parts
- Recausticizing equipment and refractory
- Pumps, towers, washers and digester maintenance
- Wet- and dry-end machine equipment and finishing-area robotics
