The assignment

JV Driver delivered construction for Devon’s Jackfish project, self-performing the civil, structural, piping and mechanical scope. The work included rigging studies and installation of large modules and vessels using a 300-ton crane with a maximizer. Constructability reviews during engineering informed how foundations, structures and equipment would be built and installed.

Scope of work

  • Civil foundations and structural erection
  • Piping and mechanical construction
  • Rigging studies, module and vessel installation
  • Engineering-stage constructability input

Delivery experience

The project profile describes the use of a specialized form system developed through constructability review to reduce cost and protect the schedule. Electrical and instrumentation were outside the self-performed scope.
