Documented construction-management scope

UNBC BioEnergy & Infrastructure Loop

Construction management connecting a bioenergy building with campus heating and cooling infrastructure.

Prince George, British Columbia

The assignment

The UNBC assignment comprised two integrated projects: a building for Nexterra bioenergy equipment and an upgrade to the university’s heating and cooling infrastructure loop. The equipment converts wood waste into syngas for the boilers. Infrastructure work included replacing existing plastic hot- and cold-water lines with carbon steel, with work both inside buildings and across the campus.
