The assignment
Working with Weyerhaeuser Engineering Services, JV Driver served as general contractor for a series of projects at the Kamloops pulp mill. The assignment combined a fully condensing steam turbine with wood-handling upgrades and replacement of two continuous digesters. Further work included surge tubes, a digester flash tank, a dissolving-pulp pilot plant and civil and mechanical services for high-density storage tanks.

Delivery experience
JV Driver also acted as lead contractor on three major shutdowns. The historical profile reports less than 0.5% rework and no lost-time incidents across the described work, with schedule and cost expectations met.
