The Deputy Minister’s Contractor of the Year Awards recognizes excellence in the delivery of transportation infrastructure projects. Transportation contractors make seismic upgrades to keep our roads safe, build relationships with local communities to minimize traffic flow disruption during construction, respond to emergency situations, and work within short construction windows and sometimes adverse conditions to ensure our roads and bridges are safe and reliable. Award Categories include: Grading, Paving, Bridges & Structures, Road & Bridge Maintenance, Community Service and Workplace Health and Safety.

We are extremely proud of the IDL Projects team, which received the 2018 Award of Excellence for recognition of Excellence in Grading for the fantastic work completed on the Highway 16 - Bunce Rd to Blackwater Road Four-Laning project. This is an incredible accomplishment for the entire JV Driver Group and is a testament to the great things the IDL team is doing. Thank you, and great work!
