Construction Leadership – February Community Service Project

Community Service!

This year, for our February community service project, members of the JV Driver USA corporate office, addressed Valentine’s Day cards to the children hospitalized at The Shriners Hospital for Children.  Shriners Hospital in Galveston, Texas provides highly specialized acute, reconstructive and rehabilitative care for children with burns and other soft tissue conditions. Since Shriners Hospital entered the burn care field in 1966, the survival rate of children with burns over more than 50 percent of their body surface has doubled. Today, patients with burns over 90 percent of their body can survive and go on to lead full, productive lives thanks to the cutting-edge clinical care, research and education at the Galveston Shriners Hospital.

Community Service

Our February community service project involved Valentine’s Day cards for the children at the Shriners Hospital for Children.

Additionally, the Valentine’s Day cards were designed by children and teens treated at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center – The Children’s Project which helps fund pediatric programs at the hospital.
